The last time I saw nbrosnahan
Was mere milliseconds ago, since he’s standing over my shoulder.
He’s a guy who really stands up for his principles, and in doing so, got me to give money to the EFF. I also enjoy his writing style.
... he was unemployed, having just left The Empire. His sweet, sweet days of being beholden to no person lasted but the weekend, however, and he’s working at Expedia now. Apparently, he’s working hard as I’ve not seen him since!
Carrick is just far enough ahead of me in the father game to be able to give good advice, and his thoughtful, genuine writing suggests we’d get along well.
Plus his picture reminds me of the Myst games. I can’t help but feel that he’s communicating at great effort from another dimension. I want to ask him what it’s like there.
Until today I didn’t know anything about Michael. Now, because of 43 Peeps and the trail of online information about Michael, I see that we have some things in common. Number one, we have the same taste in blogging software and design templates. Number two, we both work in Bellevue. Number three, we both have small kids and probably have a number of similar stories to share about fatherhood. Beyond that it’s a blank slate and could stand a bit of roughing in. I’m starting to think there’s a support group for fathers of small children on the verge of forming here in 43 Land. There are certainly enough of us.
Laurel is one of those quietly competant people who make everything better. During the time I worked with her, I never stopped learning new amazing things about her.
I’m genuinely sorry our paths don’t cross any more.
I keep seeing her come up in blogs I read, and her demonstration of the cork trick taught me something that amazes other people into thinking I’m cooler than I really am.
